6.1s inspired by OBs

By Izabela Swiderska, 6.1
Last Saturday, University Liaison Co-ordinator, Sarah Oakley arranged for 48 Old Bedalians to come and talk to 6.1 students about further education and what they have been up to since they left. The selection of OBs who came was cleverly thought out so they covered a variety of subject backgrounds. There were also OBs there who had chosen not to apply to university, which helped to highlight other options. In the first part of the morning we could circulate the library talking to OBs about the subjects we were considering to study further, and the second part was organised so we could discuss specific universities that interested us. The morning was a great success and most people left feeling enlightened about their subject decisions and were given inspiration about possible plans for life after Bedales. View photos.
