From furniture to cups and plates

OB Matthew Rice who is a successful businessman in his own right having set up a furniture company with David (Viscount) Linley and headed a stationery company. Now he is predicting great things having joined forces with entrepreneurial wife Emma Bridgewater.

Together they set up a pottery and collaborate making a diverse range of mugs and plates whilst generating a £14 million turnover. Plus having unveiled its new range to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee the couple expect to sell at least £1 million of commemorative ceramic ware, making it even more successful than last year’s Royal Wedding range.
